Glenn Orlia Whitman, age 62, died in Bella Vista, Ark., on December 2, 2021.
He was born on March 13, 1959, in Gravette, Arkansas to Glenn and Cleta (Smith) Whitman.
He is survived by his wife, Linda (Blansett) Whitman of 44 years; both parents, Glenn and Cleta (Smith) Whitman of Gravette, Ark.; son, Glenn, Jr. and his wife Colleen Whitman of Fayetteville, Ark.; daughters, Tiffani and husband Jason Petersen of Gravette, Ark., Jessica Whitman and boyfriend Turner Brown of Joplin, Mo.; sisters, Synthia Arsaga of Anaheim, Calif., Sylvia Whitman of Gravette, Ark., Sheryl and her husband Rick Handlin of Hope Mills, N.C.; grandchildren, Wendy and Lucas Whitman, Lexie and Jackson Petersen; with many nieces and nephews.
Glenn was a loving son, husband, father and grandfather. He was a farmer and a contractor for most of his life, with a passion for ministry. He was an active leader/song leader at the Gravette Church of Christ, minister at the DARP Foundation, as well as at the Benton County Jail.
