Jerry D. Langley, 79, of Alma, passed away Thursday, December 8, 2016 in Fort Smith.
He was born January 24, 1937 in Mulberry to the late Henry and Vera Langley.
He was a headstone cutter for Watkins Monument. He was preceded in death by a sister, Freda Barnes, and a brother, Melvin Langley.
He is survived by his wife, Sue Langley of the home; two daughters, Laura Steele and husband Jimmy of Chester, and Terrie Melton and husband Russell, Jr. of Kibler; a sister, Glenda Williams of Alma; a brother, Wilburn Langley of Fort Smith; three grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 12, 2016 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Alma, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
