Floyd Laverne "Peanut" Wilson, age 72, of Malvern passed away December 8, 2010 at St. Joseph's Mercy Health Center in Hot Springs. He was born October 14, 1938 in Calamine, Arkansas the son of Floyd and Flossie (McCarroll) Wilson. He served for eight years in the National Guard and was self-employed working in construction, driving dump trucks. Peanut was a member of South Main Missionary Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his father.

Survivors are his wife, Barbara (Womble) Wilson; son, Kirby Wilson; daughter, Cendy Jackson and husband, Jon; mother, Flossie Wilson; brother, Charles Wilson and wife, Dora; granddaughter, Kristen Gill, all of Malvern; and many nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

Visitation will be Friday, December 10th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Regency in Malvern.

Services will be Saturday, December 11th at 1:00 p.m. in the Regency Chapel with Brothers Glenn Alston and Neal Matlock officiating. Interment will follow at Rockport Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Jason Wilson, Blake Riggan, Danny Riggan, Rodney Pulley, Lance Howell, and Terry Bracy. Honorary pallbearers are Ralph Davis, Dr. Larry Brashears, and Doug Young.

Arrangements are by Regency Funeral Home.
