March 15, 1959 - December 25, 2011
Darrell Wayne Henderson, age 52, of Malvern went home to be with the Lord on December 25, 2011. He was born in Girard, Kansas on March 15, 1959 the son of Doyle and Linda (Hobbs) Henderson. Darrell was a 1977 graduate of Harmony Grove High School, had worked as a laborer in manufacturing and had also served as a police officer for the East Camden Police Department. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, being outdoors, and spending time with his four grandsons. He attended Cooper Assembly of God Church.
He is survived by his parents, Doyle and Linda Henderson of Rockport; children, Chris Henderson of Little Rock, and Crystal Brown and husband, Bubba of Eudora; siblings, Dennis Henderson and wife, Lynn, and Tammy Reep, all of Malvern; grandchildren, Preston and Jackson Henderson, and Nathan and Ryan Brown; nieces and nephews, Kari Reep, and James and Candace Henderson, all of Malvern; and special friend, Tammy Williams of Malvern.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 28th from 6:00-8:00pm at Regency Funeral Home in Malvern.
Services will be Thursday, December 29th at 10:00am in the Regency Chapel with Brothers Mark Ohms and Bud Walthall officiating. Interment will follow at Rockport Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers are Wayne Nix, Danny Hobbs, Wayne King, Gene Stone, Joe Hobbs, Doug Morin, Steve Hobbs, and Glenn Finney. Honorary pallbearers are all his other cousins.
Arrangements are by Regency Funeral Home.
