Porter Forest Stafford, 88, died Oct. 18, in the Madison County Hospital. He was born Sept. 21, 1882 at Rogers, Ark., the son of Jasper N. and Lucinda Lieb Stafford. His home was in Clifty. He was a member of the Rock Free Will Baptist Church.
He is survived by two sons, Moore Stafford of Tyler, Tex., and Mitchell Stafford of Clifty; three sisters, Pearl Shepherd of Weweka, Okla., Mae Scott of Collinsville, Okla., and Gay Ford of Weweka. There are also two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services were at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 21, at Rock Free Will Baptist Church. Interment was in the War Eagle Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Home of Berryville.
