SPRINGDALE — Donald Prim, 56, of Springdale passed away Thursday, Feb. 13, 2020, in his home after a long battle with cancer. He was born June 6, 1963, in Springdale to Thomas Prim and Ludean (Mashburn) Prim.

Don was a 35-year employee of J.B. Hunt. He was a faithful member for over 20 years at Trinity Fellowship in Fayetteville where he served as head usher.

He played basketball and baseball into his 50s and was inducted into the NWA Men's Senior Baseball League Hall of Fame. Don was a true gentleman that loved God, his kids, his parents and baseball.

He is survived by son Montana Prim and wife Amanda of Cunningham, Kan.; daughter Natasha Campbell and husband Robert of Springdale; parents Tom and Ludean Prim of Lowell; brother Bobby Prim and wife Linda of Springdale and their children David and Elizabeth; and granddaughters Evelyn Grace Prim and Amara Rose Prim.

A memorial service will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 22 at Trinity Fellowship in Fayetteville with Rev. Darren Rogers officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Springdale Animal Shelter.
