Ms. Dominga Domitila Calderon, 81, of Fort Smith died Sunday, April 7, 2002, in her home. She was born Dec. 12, 1920, in Canton Tahuilapa Metapan Santa Ana El Salvador. She was a member of Iglesia Bautista Hispana (Concord Baptist Church in Van Buren).

Ms. Calderon She is survived by eight daughters, Blas Calderon, Catarina Calderon V. De Perzaza , Lucila Calderon Fuentez, Maribel Calderon De Garcia, Vilma and Fredis Calderon, all of Fort Smith, Elsa Calderon De Monterroza and Odilia Calderon De Martinez, both of Van Buren; three sisters, Presentasion, Sequndo and Antonia Peraza, all of El Salvador; three brothers; 35 grandchildren and 52 great-grandchildren; other relatives; and a host of dear friends.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 10, 2002, at Iglesia Bautista Hispana (Concord Baptist Church in Van Buren), with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel of Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Pallbearers were: Eliseo, Alfonso, Fredis, Jorge, and Kelvin Nelson.
