Tony Edwards, 45, of Fort Smith, AR, died Thursday, October 31, 2013 in Fort Smith.
He was born June 28, 1968 in Ozark, AR to Jeannie and Dale Edwards.

He was of the Baptist faith. He worked for the City of Fort Smith Parks Department.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Angela Kay Edwards, grandparents, Betty and Bill Johnston and Wilburn Thrift

He is survived by his parents, Jeannie and George Hester of Fort Smith, Dale and Margaret Edwards of Van Buren; a sister, Casey Edwards of Vian, OK; two brothers, Scott Edwards and his wife Farrah of Van Buren, Roger Edwards and his wife Jane of IL; three step-sisters, Debbie Gaston and her husband Larry of Lawrence, KS, Stephanie Maddox of Fort Smith, Amanda Stokes and her husband Steven of Hartford; two step-brothers, Mark Hester and his wife Kelly of Coffeyville, KS, Terry Sampley and his wife Sokunna of Van Buren; grandparents, Ethel Thrift of Alma, Dorothy O'Brian of Hartford, Minia Henry of Van Buren as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at Freedom Freewill Baptist Church in Alma, AR with burial to follow at Bolton Cemetery in Dean Springs Community under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Allen, Darrell Henry, Allen Nordin, Glenn Nordin, Bill Brown, Jr., and Frank Wynn.
