*When Joseph Estes was born on November 8, 1837, in Missouri, his father, Bluford, was 33 and his mother, Rebecca*, was 30. He was married five times and had five sons and two daughters. He died on January 3, 1914, in Arkansas having lived a long life of 76 years, and was buried in Searcy, Arkansas.
