Shawn Douglas Lackey was born August 22 1985 in Little Rock AR to Doug and Cindy Lackey. Shawn was taken away too early in a car accident. Shawn was a friend to everybody who met him and he never met anyone that he didn’t like. He was a prankster and got a kick out of teasing an messing around with people.
Shawn loved to attend his sons ball games and enjoyed playing softball as well. Shawn was an avid hunter and fisherman an you would always see him in camo. Shawn’s joy in life was his three children and the love of his life Jamie.
Shawn was preceded in death by his two Grandfathers Tollie Lackey of Tumbling Shoals and Rev. Clifford Baxter of Heber Springs, his Aunt Malinda Smith of Tumbling Shoals, Great Grand Parents Dave and Stella Fortner and Loy’s and Bertha Lackey, and his wife’s Grandmother Mrs. Verna Cline .
Shawn leaves behind the Love of his life his wife Jamie (Pierce) Lackey, his three children Caleb Douglas, Autumn Marie and Abby Gale, parents Doug and Cindy Lackey, his older brother Joshua Ryan Lackey all of Joy AR. His grandmother and Grandfather Esther and Jimmie Greene of Searcy AR, his Grandmother Eula Baxter of Heber Springs AR. His uncles David Don and Dennis Lackey of Rose Bud AR. His aunts Jeanne Wood of Clay AR and Paula Strickland of Conway AR. His mother and father in law Larry and Karen Coughlin sister in law Keri and husband Dustin LeBlanc Sister in law Sissy and husband Jim Crow sister in law Diana an husband Daniel Reed Nieces Kaitlyn and Candance Reed and Dallas, Savannah, and Brianna Crow. His best friends Dale Pierce, Evan Cooper, and Ed Barrick and numerous other friends and relatives that loved him dearly.
