*When Ira Jackson Harvey was born on July 13, 1813, in Tennessee, his father, DANIEL, was 20 and his mother, Benter, was 20. He married Mary E McDougal and they had nine children together. He also had one daughter from another relationship. He died on March 15, 1887, in White, Arkansas, at the age of 73, and was buried there.
When Mary E McDougal was born on December 18, 1818, in Alabama, her father, Archibald, was 43, and her mother, Ann, was 35. She married Ira Jackson Harvey on December 27, 1837, in Lauderdale, Alabama. They had nine children in 20 years. She died on July 17, 1864, in Tishomingo, Mississippi, at the age of 45, and was buried in Iuka, Mississippi.
