Charles Kenneth McWilliams, 61 of El Dorado passed in peace near Winnipeg, Manitoba on Wednesday, September 18, 2019. “Kenny Mac” was born in El Dorado, AR on June 5, 1958 to Charles Edward and Bonnie Faye Hargett McWilliams. He was employed as a truck driver by TransVac, LLC.

Kenny was a bicentennial graduate of El Dorado High School. He joined South Side Baptist Church as a young teen and was also a member of Westside Baptist youth group. He enjoyed traveling with the youth choir. Kenny grew up playing on the banks of the Ouachita River at Moro Bay. He enjoyed swimming, water skiing, hunting, fishing, playing horseshoes and being with his mom, dad, sister, brother, family and friends on the river.

Kenny married his wife of 42 years in 1977. They were blessed with one daughter, who he often referred to as his “little princess”. He cherished his time with his family and three grandchildren who he loved dearly. He loved his Dachshund, Sophia.

Preceding him in death along with his father was a brother, Edward Scott McWilliams, grandparents, William Clayton and Jewel McWilliams and Elijah and Dollie Ann Fite Hargett.

Survivors include his wife, Annette Bishop McWilliams; daughter Stephanie Francis and husband Brian Francis, grandchildren Kara, Blaine and Kason Francis; his mother, Bonnie McWilliams; sister Kelley Ward and her husband John Ward; mother-in-law Barbara Bishop; brother-in-law, Mike Fielder, all of El Dorado; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins he loved dearly. He was a gift of God, a child of God, a wonderful son, husband, father, grandfather, uncle, friend and co-worker.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 28, from 5pm to 7pm at Young’s in El Dorado, AR.

Funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 29, at 2pm at Young’s chapel with Dr. Donnie Hargett officiating. Interment will immediately follow at the Old Parkers Chapel Cemetery in Parkers Chapel under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors
