Oscar Lavon “BoBo” Hunsaker, Sr., 68 of Star City died Tuesday at Gardner Nursing Center. He was born September 30, 1946 in Crigler (Lincoln County) to the late Curtis Hunsaker and Mildred Cook. He was a member of Calvary Assembly of God Church and was a truck driver for Bassett.
Also preceding him in death were a son, Shelby Summitt and sister, Sally McWorther.
Survivors include his wife, Eva Hunsaker of Star City; 2 sons, Oscar (Rachel) Hunsaker, Jr. of Redfield and Timothy Brown of Stuttgart; 5 daughters, Louise (Robert) Wells of Star City, Madonna Burns of Stuttgart, Connie (Curt) Phillips of Pine Bluff, Christy (Todd) Smith of Rison and Mary Hunsaker of Star City; 3 brothers, James Stover, Wayne Hunsaker and Ronnie Blasengame, all of Star City; 3 sisters, Ardath Edmonds and Martha Russworm of Star City, Brenda Burnett of Malvern; 26 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services are 2:00PM Thursday at Oak Grove Cemetery with Sister Adrian Moss officiating. Visitation is 12:00PM until funeral time Thursday at the funeral home.
