Edward Roland Yaw of Gassville, Arkansas, passed away July 29, 2020, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 81. He was born August 27, 1938, in Terre Haute, Indiana, the son of Ralph and Bernice Yaw. Edward was a 33 year U.S. Navy veteran. Edward married Patricia and moved to the area in 1988. He was a Life Member of the V.F.W. Post 3246. After Patricia passed away in 2018, he married Barbara Jean on May 28, 2020, in Mountain Home, Arkansas. He enjoyed going to the V.F.W., working crossword puzzles, and watching classic movies.

Edward is survived by his wife, Barbara Jean Yaw of Gassville, AR; five children; several grandchildren; one brother, Doug Yaw; and one sister, Merle Yaw.

He was preceded in death by his parents and first wife, Patricia Crowder Yaw.

A Graveside Funeral Service for Edward will be 11:00 am, Monday, August 3, 2020, at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, with Military Honors provided by the Alley-White American Legion Post #52 and united States Navy Honor Guards. Due to current restrictions, masks are required.

Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services - Mountain Home, Arkansas.
