BENTONVILLE - Wayne Hudley Flowers, age 36, departed this life peacefully on Saturday night, Sept. 8, in his
Bentonville, Ark., home. Wayne was born in Wichita, Kan., Feb. 19, 1982, to David and Teresa Flowers. The family moved to Bentonville in 1987.

Wayne graduated from Bentonville High School Class of 2000. He was a member of the BHS Chamber Choir from 1999-2000 and enjoyed the friendships, comradely and the music of the Choir. He later moved to Springfield Missouri, attended Drury University, graduating Cum Laude with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration. In his lifetime he worked for Walmart Claims Management in Rogers, as a quality assurance manager over 14 years for Resource Optimization and Innovation 'ROI' labs, and then in the automotive industry in quality control positions.

Wayne enjoyed camping, 4-wheeling his Jeep, restoring his '67 Camaro and playing the guitar. He also enjoyed a good run with his dog, Jack, alongside. His biggest joy was seeing his daughter, Piper, enter the world and watching her grow, learn and develop her own personality and would tell you all about it! He was always saying "she got that from Stephanie or she got that from me" with a joyous smile!

Wayne was also known for his loyalty as a son, grandson, brother and friend. His infectious laughter could fill a room and his sharp wit, great sense of humor and practical jokes will long be remembered.

Wayne was preceded in death by his grandfather Jerry Gourley and his Dad Robby Asbery. He leaves behind his daughter, Piper Flowers; son, Etheon Myers and his wife Stephanie of Ozark, Mo.; his mother, Teresa Asbery of Bentonville; grandmother, Elaine Gourley of Centerton; sister, Audrey Thompson and brother-in-law Justin; brother, Robby Asbery and wife Lauren; and a host of favorite aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

All are invited to visit with the family from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 11, at Callison-Lough Funeral Home in Bentonville. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at Callison-Lough. Burial will follow in Coffelt Cemetery.
