Louis Otis Hester, 65, of Commerce City, Colo., died Wednesday, Aug. 25, 1993. Born Aug. 5, 1928, at Prairie Grove, he was a retired truck driver. Hester was raised in the Prairie Grove and Cane Hill area.
Survivors are his wife, Janie Hester; eight sons, Lloyd Hester, Louis Monroe Hester and Charles Hester, all of Farmington, Louis Otis Hester of Killeen, Texas, Lucas Hester. Landis Hester, Lane Hester and Lindel Hester, all of Chester; five daughters, Jane Landelius and Nancy Townsend of West Fork, Kaye Dozier of Alma, Janice Pemberton of Ashland, Tenn., and Melanie Marie Hester of Brazil; two brothers, Bentz Hester of Newman, Calif.; and Charles Hester of Springdale; two sisters, Marjorie Meacham of Fayetteville and Ruth Pelfry of Tulsa; 25 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews in the Northwest Arkansas area.
A graveside memorial service will be held at Brentwood Cemetery at 10 a.m. Monday with pastor Lloy Thomas officiating.
