Velma Still Alexander, 72, of Tulsa, Okla., died Dec. 6, 2002, in Tulsa. She was born July 5, 1930, in Greenbrier, the daughter of John and Ollie Bell Hunnicutt Baker. She was a member of the Assembly of God faith and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Jerry Still; three brothers, Jess Baker, Howard Baker and Ray McKinney and Laurie Cantrell.

Survivors include three sons, David Still of Pineville, Mo., Danny Still of Hiwasse; three daughters, Janice Mills of Bowling Green, Ky., Debbie Edmonson and Cathy Simon, both of Tulsa; one sister, Thelma McKinney of Springdale;11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel of Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Springdale with the Rev. Jerry Henshaw officiating. Burial will be in Bluff Cemetery.

Visitation will from 2 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
