Vernon L. Curd, 84, passed peacefully from this earthly life surrounded by his loving family on Dec. 4, 2010. Born Oct. 18, 1926, the first of fifteen children, to Joseph Daniel and Margie Hughes Curd. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Edward (Pee Wee) and Charles Curd and sister Zorine Modlin.
