Phillip Michael Whorton, 55, of Huntsville, Arkansas, died August 12, 2015 at Huntsville, Arkansas. He was born March 8, 1960 at Huntsville, Arkansas, the son of Charles Whorton, Jr. and Edith Alice May Taylor Whorton. He was a master plumber and the owner of Whorton Plumbing. He was a Baptist and was preceded in death by his mother.

Survivors include: his wife, Tammy L. Mounce Whorton of the home; two sons, Cory Whorton of Jackson Hole, Wyoming and Dakota Whorton of Huntsville, Arkansas; one daughter and son-in-law, Rebeca and Willie Haley of Little Rock, Arkansas; his father, Charles Whorton, Jr. of Huntsville, Arkansas; three brothers, Jim Whorton of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Greg Whorton of Fairfield, Texas and Jerry Whorton of Fort Smith, Arkansas and one sister, Beverly Bolinger of Huntsville, Arkansas.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A. M. Saturday, August 15, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with The Reverends Jim Clayton and Jim Duncan officiating. Interment will be in the Aurora Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home www.brashearsfuneralhome.net of Huntsville, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be: Casey Whorton, Clay Whorton, Hunter Whorton, Harrison Whorton, Colin Whorton, Shannon Skyrm, Matthew Bates, Dylon Drummond, Joe Mounce, Luiz Gioielli, Les McGaugh and Phillip Brandon. Honorary pallbearers will be: Jim Whorton, Greg Whorton, Jerry Whorton, George Whorton, Tommy Whorton, Jake Whorton, Tony Mounce, Kevin Holmes and Tim Partine.
