Herbert Earl "H.E." Pitts of Traskwood, Arkansas, was born May 25, 1938, to his parents in Little Rock, Arkansas, and died November 20, 2014, in Little Rock, Arkansas, at the age of 76. He was a sheet metal worker, a Navy Veteran, and a member of Mountain Home Freewill Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ollie and Leona Jones Pitts.
Mr. Pitts is survived by his wife, Maleta Bryant Pitts of Traskwood, Arkansas; three sons: Michael L. Harper of Traskwood, Arkansas, James S. Harper of Benton, Arkansas, and Michael Farley of Jacksonville, Arkansas; two daughters: Amanda Frederick of Traskwood, Arkansas, and Melissa Brown-Johnston of Jacksonville, Arkansas; two brothers: Clifton Pitts of Ozone, Arkansas, and Jerry Pitts of Lamar, Arkansas; two sisters: Geraldine Parker of Flat Rock, Arkansas, and Jan Hollowell of Benton, Louisiana; and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 25, 2014, at Hardwicke Funeral Home in Clarksville, Arkansas, with Reverend Amos Pledger officiating. Burial will follow in Minnow Creek Cemetery.
