Monday, July 17, 1961
Loss Gooding, 76, of Route 1, West Fork, died at his home Sunday morning. A retired farmer, he was born April 27, 1886. His wife, the former Miss Allie McAdoo died January 1, 1958.
Survivors are five sons, Clyde Gooding of West Fork, Dee, Otis and Virgil Gooding of Amarillo, Texas, and Olin Gooding of El Paso, Texas; one sister, Mrs. Verna Worford of Woodland, Calif.; two brothers, John Gooding of Fayetteville, and Tom Gooding of Prairie Grove, nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral arranements will be announced by the Watson Mortuary.

Funeral services for Loss Gooding, 75, of Route 1, West Fork, who died Sunday, were conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Zinnamon Community Building near Devil's Den by the Rev. Dee Smith, Baptist minister. Burial was in Zinnamon cemetery with arrangements in charge of The Watson Mortuary.
Pallbearers were Jim H. Coker, Claude Courtney, B. E. Michael, Artis McAdoo, Roy McAdoo, and Arbin Walerson.
