Clyde Vernon Laster, 86, beloved father and grandfather died Thursday, September 13, 2018. He was born on July 28, 1932 in Hartman, AR to Opal and Mamie Hatcher Laster.
Clyde served his country in the United States Army from 1953 - 1955.
He worked as a TV repair technician, factory worker, census taker, and with the Forest Service in his later years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ronnie Laster.
He is survived by his children, including Brenda Wolfe and Brent Laster, four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and his brother, Raymond Laster.
A funeral service will be held at noon on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 200 SE Maynard Road, Cary, NC 27511. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service.
Graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday September20, 2018 at Union Grove cemetery in Clarksville, AR.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Disabled Veterans of America or Arkansas Children's hospital.
Arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.
