A Funeral Service for Danny Gene Everett of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 2:00 pm, Sunday, February 25, 2018, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Bill Hughes officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until service time.

Danny passed away February 20, 2018, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 87. He was born February 14, 1931, in Pineville, Kentucky, the son of Jesse and Stella Whited Everett. He married Venera Bonfiglio on May 24, 1968, in Waltham, Massachusetts and was a retired United States Navy veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Wars. Danny lived in Mountain Home since 1991, moving from Barrington, New Hampshire. He enjoyed playing cards, listening to music, traveling, and playing the banjo, guitar, and fiddle.

Danny is survived by his wife, Venera Everett of Mountain Home, AR; son, Danny Gene Everett, Jr. of Uhrichsville, OH; two brothers, Johnny Clayton Everett of Boise, ID, and Emmit Harold Napier of Mahomet, IL; and three sisters, Mary Ruth Fields of Lexington, KY, Joyce Blanton of Cincinnati, OH, and Mona Joe Napier of Knoxville, TN.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Stella Everett; brother, Jerry Wayne Everett; and sister, Gertrude Nolan.

Entombment will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Mausoleum, Mountain Home, Arkansas. Military Honors will be provided by the United States Navy Honor Guard.

Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of North Central Arkansas.

Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
