Whitney Marie Wheaton, 30, of Newport passed from this life on Saturday, April, 21, 2018. She was born Tuesday, March 1, 1988 in Little Rock, Arkansas to William and Melinda Bodle Wheaton. Whitney enjoyed playing video games and guitar, but she found her greatest joy in attending church and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ronald and Jeanne Gobel, David and Wanda Campbell.
Survivors include her parents, William and Melinda Wheaton of Jacksonville; sisters, Susan Wheaton (Laney Painter) of Rogers, Samantha Wheaton of Jacksonville; nephews, Cooper Wheaton of Jacksonville, Clementine and Enrique “Kit “of Rogers, along with several aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of other family and friends.
Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 26, 2018 at Chapel Hill Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home.
