OBIT

Rev. Curtis Cannon Crisp, 89, of Jacksonville went home to be with his Lord and Savior Friday, February 10, 2017 at Hospice Home Care in Little Rock surrounded by family.
He was born March 13, 1927 in Possum Hollow, Arkansas to the late Tommy and Joysie Crisp. He was a WWII veteran having served in Italy. He started a mission church in McRae, Arkansas in the early 1960’s. Rev. Curtis Crisp was a charter member of Bethel Baptist in Cabot, Westside Baptist in Jacksonville, and Charity Baptist in Ward, Arkansas.
In addition to his parents, Rev. Curtis Crisp is preceded in death by his wives, Dorothy Ellender Crisp and Opal Allen Crisp; daughters: Chelia Christina Brock and Thelma Joysie Crisp; sisters; Gracie Rose and Arzene Rose; brother: Alger Crisp; brother in laws; Johnny Wagner and David Wagner; mother and father in law: Odie and Myrtle Wagner; and one great grandson: Tristan Jones.
Rev. Curtis Crisp is survived by his children: Dotty and Audrey Jones of Cabot, Betty and Don McIntire of Bay, Kay Phillips of Jacksonville and Lee and Sherri Crisp of Warden; sister in laws: LaNell Crisp of Nashville, Arkansas, Ruby Wagner of Cabot, and Alma Wagner of Washington; several nieces, nephews, and cousins who loved him dearly.
He is also survived by his grandchildren: Tami and Doug Graves of Iowa, Jeremy and Jordan McIntire of Jonesboro, Amanda and Chad Stevens of Beebe, Sarah and Rodney Corley of Ward, April and Steven Unrue of Cabot, Derek and Crystal McIntire of Jonesboro, Joshua Phillips of Ward, Caleb and Katie Crisp of Searcy, Cordell and Lauren Crisp of Little Rock; fourteen great-grandchildren, two step grandchildren, and seven step great-great grandchildren.
A visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at Westside Baptist in Jacksonville.
A funeral service will follow visitation starting at 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at Westside Baptist in Jacksonville with Rev. Keith Lewis officiating.
Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Park Cemetery with active pallbearers being grandsons. Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro is in charge of arrangements.

Family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Sauer and Nurse Patty Haley for all the care and love they showed during dads stay at hospice. All the workers were great. We would also like to give a special thank you to Karen and Ray Rendon for always being there for dad and his special friend, Marcelle Green.
