Naomi Monica Horton, 87 of Jacksonville, died Saturday, April 2, 2016. Naomi was born on September 12, 1928 in Manhattan, New York. Mrs. Horton worked as a nurse’s aide in the Bronx, and Staten Island, New York for over 30 years.
Naomi is survived by her sister Daphne Williams, her daughter Diane Smith and her son Kevin Horton, grandchildren; Darryl Griffith, Danielle Smith and Ayala Horton Royster, great-grandchildren; Taian Griffith, Taylor Griffith, Tonya Griffith, Alta Jade Griffith, Kaiya Griffith, Amara Royster and Altonio Royster; two nieces Lorna Williams and Lauren Adams and a host of grandnieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, April 7, 2016 at Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 8, 2016 at Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home (501) 982-2136.
