Cynthia Faye Gibson, 61 of Monticello, Arkansas passed away January 23, 2021 in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Born August 10, 1959 in Bedford, England. The daughter of the late Jack and Shirley Fay Benford Gibson. Her parents and two brothers, William Lee Gibson, and Steven Matthew Gibson and one nephew Jeffrey Glenn Gibson preceded her in death.
Cindy was a member of First Baptist church in Monticello, Arkansas. Formerly employed by Drew Memorial Hospital and Jefferson Regional Medical Center as a medical transcriptionist for over 20 years. Cindy was a member of the Zippy Zebra Buddies to where she made happies and cards for very sick children and their siblings and mailed them to give the children something to look forward to. Cindy will be dearly missed she had a very big heart.
Survivors include her brother, James “Hoot” Gibson and wife Linda of Dumas, Arkansas, three nephews, Daniel and David Gibson and Kris Robertson and two nieces April and Jenny Gibson.
Graveside services at 10 Am, Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Drake Cemetery in Star City, Arkansas, with Rev. Kevin Henry officiating. Arrangements by Griffin Funeral Home, Dumas, Arkansas
