Toby Dean Franklin, age 35, of Ozark, Arkansas died Friday, April 23, 2021 in Ozark. He was a diesel mechanic for Drummond Trucking in Ozark and a loving son, father, brother and friend. He enjoyed gardening, was a gun enthusiast and always wanted to cook for gatherings with his friends and family. He loved God, his country and the Arkansas Razorbacks. Toby always looked forward to the next adventure with his family. He said many times, "everyone just needs to get along. Hug the ones you love." Toby was born February 3, 1986 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Paul and Sherry Stafford Franklin. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Owen and Leona Franklin and Harold and Dortha Stafford.

Toby is survived by his parents, his two children; Trenton and Gabrielle Franklin of Ozark; his brother, Matthew Franklin of Fayetteville, Arkansas; his fiancé, Cynthia Wells and her three children, Cheyenne, Christian and Colton Wells all of Ozark.

Graveside service will be held at Cemetery Ridge (also known as Ridge Cemetery), seven miles south of Ozark, off Heritage road on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at 10:00am with Toby's lifelong friend, Pastor Chris Russell, officiating under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held Monday, April 26, 2021 from 6:00 to 8:00pm at Shaffer Funeral home 2315 West Commercial in Ozark.

Serving as pallbearers Matthew Franklin, Chris Russell, Derek Roberds, Glen Frala, Zach Carmack and Graig Schriver. Honorary pallbearers are Trenton Franklin and Christian Wells.
