Tonya Denise Jordan was born June 13, 1966, in Camden Arkansas to Reginald Hursey and Maxine Jordan.
She made her transition in the early hours of Monday May 7, 2018.
Nurtured along with her siblings by her late grandmother, Christiana Jordan and great aunt Erma Lowmack, Tonya professed her love of Christ and sought spiritual maturity at CME Temple Church, Camden, Arkansas. She served as an assistant during vacation bible school, ushered, and was a former soloist in the choir.
She graduated from Camden Senior High School in 1985.
Tonya was preceded in death by her father, Reginald Hursey and her uncle, Joe Jordan.
Left to cherish her precious memories: daughter, Arbrianna Jordan of Hot Springs Arkansas; mother, Maxine Jordan, of Camden Arkansas; brother, Anthony Jordan and his wife, Pamela of Rio Rancho, New Mexico; sister, Jamie Minor of Camden Arkansas; granddaughter, Kori’Anna Robinson of Hot Springs, Arkansas; great-aunt, Mamie Staggers of Ozan, Arkansas; aunts, Minnie Ree Bradley of Hope, Arkansas; Frances Maye and her husband Lennox of Arlington, Texas; Geraldine Torrence and her husband Roger; Donna Jordan; Gail Marks and her husband Lewis; all of Camden, Arkansas; an uncle, Michael Hursey, Fort Worth Texas.
One niece and three nephews, Ashley Foster, Anthony Jordan II, and Austin Jordan all of Rio Rancho, New Mexico; and Jordan Minor of Coffeyville, Kansas. Her memory will also live on through her many cousins, relatives, church family, and friends.
