Hubert Eugene Webster, 83, of Pleasant Plains passed from this life Thursday, December 24, 2020 at his home. He was born February 15, 1937 in Batesville to the late Gary and Mary Melissa Turner Webster.
Known as the Lawnmower Man, Hubert could make anything start and run. He enjoyed tinkering on mowers and small engines and loved going to church. Hubert was a faithful member of the Mt. Zion Church of God and was an eight-year veteran of the United States Air Force.
He is survived by his daughter, Sandra Webster; a son, Gary Webster (Amy); grandchildren, Michael, Tabby, Shawn, William, Heather, John, Holly, and Luke; numerous great grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Lou Webster; and many other relatives, friends, and other loved ones.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mary Mae Willis Webster; siblings, Berniece, Leonard, Wilburn, Herman, Luthern, and Buryl; a daughter, Freddia Renee Webster; and a son, Daniel Webster.
A graveside funeral service will be Monday, December 28, 2020 at Smith Cemetery in Bradford. Arrangements entrusted to Bradford Memorial Funeral Home of Bradford, Arkansas.
Face covering for all attendees has been requested by the family in addition to current social distancing requirements.
