C. B. Jorgensen, age 82 of Camden, AR passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at National Park Medical Center in Hot Spring due to renal failure. He was born October 03, 1928 in Earle, AR to John B. and Mattie Darby Jorgensen. He worked as an engineer for LTV in Grand Prairie, TX. He loved to hunt, fish, play guitar and did woodwork in his later years. He was a member of the Arkansas Travelers Band and other bands and Pleasant Ridge Assembly of God Church for 45 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Addie Jorgensen; and sisters, Lilly Jorgensen and Dorothy Boney.
He is survived by his soul mate of 45 years his wife, Eva Jorgensen of Camden, AR; sons, Michael Jorgensen and wife, Judi of Mansfield, TX and Allen Jorgensen and wife, Shirley of Smackover, AR; daughters, Debi George and husband, Wayne of Mansfield, TX and Melissa LaDuke and husband, Doug of Camden, AR; four grandchildren, Jason Elwell of Arlington, TX, Jared Jorgensen of Mansfield, TX, Jeremy Jorgensen of Mansfield, TX and Joseph Jorgensen of Smackover, AR; three granddaughters, Christina Jennings of Mansfield, TX, Katy Jorgensen of Little Rock, AR and Anna LaDuke of Camden, AR; one stepgrandson, Adam LaDuke and wife, Tori of Camden, AR; and numerous friends and other relatives.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday, May 27, 2011 at Pleasant Ridge Assembly of God with burial in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Reverend Jay Yarbrough will officiate the servcies. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
