August 19, 1967 - November 12, 2018
Roy Lynn Poole, 51 of Camden, AR went to be with his Heavenly Father Monday, November 12, 2018 after a courageous battle with Glioblastoma Malformation. He was born August 19, 1967 to Norman and Brenda Poole.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Annette Poole, grandmothers, Sara Poole and Frances Cook; and father figure, Dale Warnix. Roy worked for Pectrin for 35 years as Asbestos Supervisor.
He is survived by his mother, Brenda L. Parr and husband Ron; daughter, Brandie L. Martin and husband, Dalton; son, Zackery W. Poole; granddaughter, Saige Martin; and grandson, Steven Martin all of Camden, AR; grandson, Matthew Poole of Sparkman, AR; the mother of his children, Candy L. Poole of Camden, AR; father, Norman J. Poole of Texarkana, TX; Lisa Parker, significant other of Camden, AR; Diana Banda and husband, Francisco of Tyler, TX, Shara Parker of Tyler, TX, Stephanie Parker of Mississippi, Kathy Rose Banda, Francisco Banda, Jr. and Elizabeth Banda all of Tyler, TX; stepbrothers, Gerry Parr and wife, Sandy of Camden, AR, David Parr and wife, Leitha of Phoenix, AZ and Danny Parr of Camden, AR; and stepsister, Rhonda Williams and husband, David of Harrell, AR.
While growing up if you ever wanted to find Roy all you had to do was go to Dale and Sue Warnix house, and there he would be out in the shop with Dale who was like a father to him. They spent many Saturday evenings at the Prescott Raceway.
Roy Loved spending time with his family and friends. He loved his kids and grandkids. One thing for sure was Roy always knew how to make you laugh.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the Staff of OCMC Hospice, especially Elana Myers.
Funeral services for Roy will be 2:00PM Thursday, November 15, 2018 at Proctor Funeral Home with burial in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
