January 16, 1929 - August 28, 2006
Troy L. Waters, 77, of Marshall, passed away on Monday, August 28, 2006 at his home on South Mountain. He was born on January 16, 1929 to Timothy and Corma Smith Waters in Yorktown, Arkansas.
He was an avid sportsman and civic worker. Enjoyed gardening, woodworking, cooking, traveling and family events.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Vivian Waters, daughter, Carol Hutchins and husband Gary, son, Robert Waters, and wife Freda; brother, Laron Waters and wife Violet and grandchildren Hila Massanet and husband Larry; Angela Spicer and husband William; and David Waters and wife Brandi.
Services will be Thursday, August 31, 2006, 2:00 p.m. at Roller Coffman Chapel in Marshall with Robert Waters, Glen Pace, and Roy Ragland officiating.
Interment will follow in Marshall Memorial Gardens.
The family will be receiving family and friends at their home at 1864 South Mountain Road on Wednesday evening, August 30, 2006 from 6-8 p.m.
Pallbearers will be members of the South Mountain Volunteer Fire Department.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the South Mountain Volunteer Fire Department.
