When William Ray Huey was born on March 24, 1944, in Blytheville, Arkansas, his father, Robert, was 25 and his mother, Effie, was 25. He married on September 2, 1966, in Arkansas. He had one child during his marriage. He died on September 11, 1995, in Memphis, Tennessee, at the age of 51.
