Willie Eugene "Gene" Jones the son of Samuel William Jones and Nova A (Smith) Jones. Loretta the daughter of Charles "Charley" Gerphus Huskey and Olene (Gardner) Huskey.


Loretta Ann Huskey Jones, 66, of Strawberry died Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2004, in a Cave City nursing home.

Born at Strawberry, she was the daughter of Gerphus and Olene Huskey. She was a lifetime resident of Strawberry and a member of the Mount Harmony Free Will Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Kerry Jones and Lanny Jones, both of Strawberry; a brother, Bobby Dean Huskey of Strawberry; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gene Jones; and an infant daughter, Teresa Roxann Jones.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Mount Harmony Free Will Baptist Church with Stanley Vandergrift officiating. Burial will be in the Lancaster Cemetery in Strawberry under the direction of the House-Gregg Funeral Home of Lynn.

Pallbearers will be Eddie Ray Doyle, Jody Doyle, Brad Maxwell, Jimmy Crabtree, Jerry Huskey, Anthony Crabtree and Morris Reaves Jr.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. J.R. Baker, Mark Mann and Eugene Mann.
