Leamon "Lee" Harmon, 75, of Lowell, Arkansas, died Thursday, March 27, 2014 at his home.

He was born April 7, 1938 in Keefton, Oklahoma, to Leamon and Eddie Derwene Webb Harmon. Lee worked in the oil fields throughout his life beginning at the age of 17. He enjoyed family adventures, get-togethers, and playing poker and golf.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and by his step-father, Jim McDaniel, who raised him. He is survived by five children, Rick Harmon and wife Leanna of Lowell, Ark., Ron Harmon and wife Teresa of Santa Paula, Calif., Leana Smith and husband Steve of Fayetteville, Ark., Leamon Dale Harmon of Bakersfield, Calif., Nellie McCulley of Springdale, Ark.; one brother, Curtis McDaniel and wife Linda of Utah; two sisters, Eddie Lee Patterson and husband Floyd, and Bobbie Socia, all of Santa Paula, Calif.; two half-sisters, Marilyn Matthews and Caroline Robles both of Tucason, Ariz.; eight grandchildren, Ryan Harmon and wife Nicole, Amanda Harmon, Tara Harmon, Ronnie Harmon, Amber Read and husband Robert, Tyler Smith, Nicole Vasquez, Hunter McCulley; four great-grandchildren, Kayleigh Harmon, Jagger Harmon, Ava Bradley, Ashlynn Read; the mother of his children, Nellie Edmonds of Fayetteville, Ark.; and other special people that shared in his life, Becky Curtis, Ciara Curtis, Tommy Curtis, Robert Fortenberry, Jasmine Fortenberry and Vonnie Harmon.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, April 3, 2014, at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel followed by interment at Bluff Cemetery in Springdale, Ark. Online messages may be sent to the family by visiting the online guest book at www.heritageofnwa.com.
