KANSAS, Okla. — Richard K. Behrens, 74 of Kansas, Oklahoma, passed away February 7, 2010 in Bentonville. Mr. Behrens was born July 16, 1935 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota the son of Keith and Alice Whitaker Behrens. He was a truckdriver and served in the Air National Guard for 8 years. Richard was a member of the Cherokee City Church in Cherokee City, Arkansas. He is preceded in death by his parents Keith Behrens and Alice Behrens Lloyd and four brothers Charles, Marvin, Eugene and Norman Behrens.
Richard is survived by his wife Carla Jean Tharp Behrens of the home. They were married June 14, 1974 in Miami, Oklahoma; one son Michael Behrens of Bentonville, Arkansas; two daughters Kathy DeBord of Jane, MO and Rita Isenbart of Centerton, Arkansas; one sister Ann Covey of Showlow, Arizona; seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Visitation will be at Benton County Funeral Home, Tuesday, February 9 from 11:00 till 12:00 with services at 12:00 with Rev. Steve Paden officiating.
