Bobby Lee Lynn, 91, left this earthly home, December , 23, 2017 for heaven. He is from El Dorado, AR, but because of health complications had lived in Little Rock since 2014.

He was a proud veteran of World War II. He was a Private First Class in the army and awarded the WWII Victory Medal. Part of his army career was spent in Holland. He loved the beautiful flowers especially tulips. He married Lamona "Sue" Lynn July 26, 1947 in Strong, Arkansas. He was a caring, gentle husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.

After his army discharge he worked many jobs but settled as a mail carrier for the post office. After several years he decided to open his own business with his brother, Thomas "Toppy" Lynn. They opened a machine shop and salvage yard on East Main named Lynn Bros. Later they built a car wash, closed the machine shop and kept the 15 acres of salvaged cars.

His passion for horses was undeniable. He became a member of the mounted patrol. He sacrificed many weekends by taking his daughter, Sandy, to ride in parades and rodeos.

Bobby was very active in his church. He served on committees and was an elder at Marrable Hill Chapel. Before moving to Little Rock he was the oldest male member of the church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Grace Lynn, two brothers, Sammy Lynn and Toppy Lynn and his sister Patsy Jane Rogers, a daughter, Nancy Sue Lynn and a granddaughter, Nancy Amanda "Mandy" Coats.

He is survived by his wife, Sue Lynn, a daughter, Sandy Lynn Coats (Jimmy), grandson, Chad Coats (Candi) and two great grandsons, Cameron and Collier Coats.

Services will be 11:00 a.m. at Marrable Hill Chapel on Tuesday, Dec 26, 2017 with Rev. Ben Wasson officiating. Visitation will be 30 minutes prior to the service. A private family burial will be at Arlington Cemetery.
