Franco Bucato, Corpus Christi, TX,.Our beloved, Franco Bucato Jr, age 27, passed away January 31, 2016. He was born December 21, 1988, to Guadalupe Rosales and George Corona. He was a loving son, father, brother, and friend. He will be dearly missed by all. Franco is survived by his children, Franco Bucato Jr, Elizabella Bucato, Franco Ezequiel Bucato, three sisters: Suyata Rosales, Christina Rosales, Marbella Leon; four brothers: Hector Rosales, Jose Rosales, George Corona, and Marco Leon. Visitations will begin at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. on February 6, 2016, at Saxet Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be conducted in Springdale, Arkansas.

A man convicted in a 2016 fatal Robstown shooting was sentenced to 40 years in prison.
A Nueces County jury handed down the sentence against Leonard Maurice Solomon, 35, on Wednesday. The same jury convicted him a day earlier of murder. He faced a life sentence.
Franco Bucato, 27, was discovered with several gunshot wounds in the 500 block of Nebraska Street in January 2016.
Prosecutors said Solomon’s co-defendant Rhonda Reyna went to a house in Robstown to confront another group of people that included Bucato. There was a fight and Reyna was hit, First Assistant District Attorney Matt Manning said.
As she left the house, Reyna threatened to have her boyfriend, Solomon, return. He returned wearing a ski mask with a group of people, and there was another confrontation, Manning said. During that confrontation, Bucato was shot, he said.
Manning said Wednesday prosecutors maintain Solomon either was the shooter or he was the conduit to someone else doing so during the confrontation.
