Manuel Worthey, age 78, of Hope passed away Friday August 30, 2019 in Texarkana, Texas.
He was born January 8, 1941 in Hempstead County Arkansas to Dewey and Annis Clark Worthey Sr.
He was a member of The Cross Roads Assembly of God Church Delight. He was retired from Tyson Foods. Manuel was a devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Manuel is preceded in death by his mother, father, two; brothers; Dillard and Dewey Worthey Jr. and three sisters; Dorothy Norvell, Jewel Hartsfield, Maxine Quillin. one son; Robert Clark.
Manuel is survived by his wife, Johnnie Worthey, three sons; James and wife Mandy Worthey, LaVaughn and wife Tammy Worthey, Steve and wife Doris Clark. One brother, Don and wife Linda Worthey, and numerous grand and great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday September 3, 2019 at 10:00am at Holly Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday September 2, 2019 6:00-8:00pm at Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home of Hope Services are under the direction of Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home of Hope
