PERRYTON, Texas — Ray Morgan, 74, of Perryton died Jan. 29, 2007, at Amarillo, Texas. He was born Aug. 29, 1932, in Garfield to Taylor Franklin and Vesta Faye Scott Morgan. He was an Army veteran serving in the Korean War. He had lived in Texas since 1966 and was a pumper in the oil fields. He was a member of Victory Family Church in Perryton.
Survivors include his wife, Norma of the home; three daughters, Marcia Rock of Bedford, Texas, Joyce Grider of Deming, N.M., Cheryl Welch of Perryton; two sons, Larry Morgan and Joe Morgan, both of Perryton; two brothers, Benny Joe Morgan of Perryton and Eddie Wayne Morgan of Pea Ridge; 21 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Scott Cemetery with Ron Booth officiating.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.
