Obituary:
Edward Adams, SR., age 78, of Hermitage, AR. died Saturday December 21, at Cornerstone Hospital in Jacksonville, AR. Born March 24, 1935 in Newark, N.J., a son of the late Edward Adams and Marie Adams Divine he was a retired truck driver for Great Lakes Chemical and a Baptist. Also preceding him in death was a step son Richard Skiba and a sister Jean Robinson. Survivors are his wife Peggy Huitt Adams whom he married June 4, 1972. 3 sons Edward Adams, Jr., Winter Haven, FL., Marty Adams, Cabot, AR., Harry Gene Adams, Warren, AR. 4 daughters Donna Munoz, Coconut Creek, FL., Debbie Hampton, St. Augustine, FL., Cindy Ayers, Spring Grove, VA., Diane Brewer, Pineville, LA. 1 step son Albert Skiba, Pompano Beach, FL. 2 step daughters Bobbie King, Margate, FL. and Lori Evans, Baxter, FL. 1 sister Elaine Novak, Port Richey, FL. 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were 10:00 a.m. Friday December 27, at Frazer's Chapel with Rev. Eldon Swenson officiating. Janice Sullivan was organist and soloist was Jennifer Jones. Burial was in Union Hill Cemetery at Ingalls, AR. by Frazer's Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Joe Huitt, Paul Huitt, Wayne Huitt, Larry Huitt, Charles Lawson, Tony Ward, Chris Keen and Tony Robinson.
