Mound Cemetery is located about 3 miles West of Rector, Clay County, Arkansas
Mound cemetery is part of the old homestead of Mr. Thomas Henry Sides & Mrs Margaret Virginia {Young} Sides. Maragret Virginia {Young} Sides had picked out a spot to be saved for her burial. It was her wishes that she be brought back from Wichita Falls, Texas upon her death {Jan. 14, 1914}. Thomas Henry Sides & Margaret Virginia Young were married Feb. 11, 1872.
1896 was the first burial in the cemetery. It was one of Thomas and Margaret's grandchildren, Roy Clifton Sides
