Bennie Perdue, 73 of Jonesboro, died Tuesday October 29, 2019 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Little Rock.
He was born May 29, 1946 in Sedgwick, Arkansas to Herman Perdue & Opal Starnes Snow Perdue. At the age of 18, he moved to Michigan. He retired from the City of Lansing, MI where he had been director of Parks & Recreation. He and wife, Judy Urbis Perdue, moved to Walnut Ridge after his retirement and then later to Jonesboro. He was a loving and caring husband,father, grandfather, great grandfather, and a friend to many.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman & Opal; and sister, Ruby Killian.
Ben is survived by his wife Judy Perdue of Jonesboro; son, Kipp Perdue of Lansing, MI; daughter, Molly Bradfield of La Vergne, TN; grandchildren, Aiden & Isabella perdue, and Brittany & Jaime Bradfield; great grandchildren, Colby & Emma; brothers, Raymond Snow & Tim Snow; and sister, Tammie Simms.
Visitation will be Saturday November 2, 2019 from 10:30 AM-12:00 PM at House-Gregg Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.
Funeral services begin at 12:00 PM at House-Gregg Funeral Home with Tommy Green officiating.
Burial will be in Old Military Cemetery in Sedgwick under direction of House-Gregg Funeral Home of Walnut Ridge & Lynn, Arkansas.
