Obit - Proctor Funeral Home
Johnson Stinnett of Chidester, AR went home to be with the Lord on September 26, 2014, at the age of 85. He was born on May 18, 1929 in Chidester.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henderson and Belton Stinnett; brother, Franklin Stinnett; sister, Valree Kraft, and sister-in-law, Peggy Anglin Stinnett, all of Chidester, AR.
He is survived by his wife, Jean Phillips Stinnett of Camden, AR; brother, William L. Stinnett and wife, Leta of Chidester, AR; sister, Judy Sweatman and husband, Johnny of Louisiana; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and his many friends.
Johnson was an Army veteran, in addition to his work as a truck driver and a city marshal for the City of Chidester for many years.
Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Monday, September 29, 2014 at Proctor Funeral Home chapel with Brother Carl Tillery officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00-4:00 PM. Burial will be in the Little Missouri Cemetery in Chidester under the direction of Proctor Funeral Home.
