Sarah Bell Knight, 88, of Whiteville died Wednesday (Nov 22, 1989) at her residence.
Visitation will be from 9AM to 2PM today at Roller Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 1-2PM. Services will be at 2PM today at the Roller Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Troy Melton officiating.
Born Oct 5, 1901, at Buford, Mrs. Knight had lived at Buffalo City prior to moving to Whiteville. She was the daughter of the late Sidney Calvin and Ella Caroline Haney Beavers. She married the late Marshall Knight May 1, 1972, at Mt. Home.
Survivors include one son, Darrel Orsborn of Howard's Ridge, MO; five daughters, including locally Aileen Guenthner of Mt. Home, Wilma Fenton of Gassville, Sarah Sue Jarboe of Mt. Home, Vivian Morgigno, of Aurora, CO and Donna Calcott of Yucca Valley, CA; 26 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and second husband, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Sam Orsborn, four brothers and one sister.
Mrs. Knight was a Baptist.
Burial will be in the Heiskill Cemetery with her grandsons serving as pallbearers.
