Barbara Ann Holland, age 78, of Yellville, Arkansas, died Tuesday, July 20, 2007 at Marion County Nursing Home in Yellville.
Mrs. Holland was born January 25, 1929, in Keya Paha County, Nebraska, the daughter of Frank and Alice Shelton Wicker. On November 17, 1958, in Georgia, she married Carl Holland.
Mrs. Holland was a retired registered nurse, who kept a current license and worked for the Marion County Hospital during its operation. She was a member of the Marion County Historical Society and the Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include her husband, Carl Holland of Yellville, AR; son, James Holland, wife Tammy of Scotts Bluff, NE; daughters Debroah Parnell and husband Harlin of Flippin, AR and Kathryn Weaver and husband, Richard of Cotter, AR; brothers, Bob Wicker of Yellville, AR and George Wicker of Lac La Biche, Alberta, Canada; sister, Betty Hennasey of Goshen, AR and grandchildren, James Layton Holland, Mataya Weaver and Ty Weaver.
Her parents preceded her in death.
Visitation was held Friday, July 20, 2007, from 6:00-8:00PM at Burns Funeral Home in Yellville. Graveside service was held Saturday, July 28, 2007, at the Heiskill Cemetery near Mt. Home, Arkansas with James Foster and Curley Johnson officiating.

Arrangements were by Burns Funeral Home in Yellville.
