D L "Dan" Bowden, 68, of Atkins died Friday, March 6, 2009, at St Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville. He was born July 20, 1940, in Atkins son of Rev F C and Geraldine Kyle Bowden. He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Mark Bowden, and brother, Floyd Lee Bowden. He was a retired banker and car dealership owner. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Christy Bowden of Atkins; grandchildren, Micaela, Daniel, Jacob and Brodie Bowden; nephew, Danny Bowden of Beaumont, Texas; uncle and aunt, Noel and Jo Kyle of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Pallbearers were Rick Gore, Gordon Haley, Jim Harelson, Howard Roberts, Jerry Graves and Dain Duvall.
