Allen D. Ivey, age 70, of Hermitage, AR., died Monday January 30, at his home. Born March 27, 1935 in Hermitage, AR. a son of the late Clifton Ivey and Hollie Jarratt Ivey he was retired from Frigiking in Dallas, Tx., with 28 years of service, and Home Metal Products in Coppell, TX. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. Also, preceding him in death was a sister Louise Hartline. Survivors are his wife Betty Poovey Ivey whom he married September 5, 1958 in Garland, TX. 1 son Robert Allen Ivey of Farmers Branch, TX. 2 daughters Janice Curbow of Tupelo, MS. and Pamela Wyatt of Lewisville, TX. 3 sisters Madge Everitt of Hermitage, AR., Frances Hanks of Mt. Pleasant, TX. and Vickie Casiano of Gautier, MS. 6 grandchildren. Funeral services were 10:00 a.m. Wednesday February 1, Frazer’s Chapel with Reverend Jerry Hines officiating and Janice Sullivan playing the organ. Active pallbearers were Kelly Everett, Ronald Wheeler, Gifford Godfrey, David Dee’s, Linwood Dee’s, Carl Dee’s and Billy Gorman. Burial was in Holly Springs Cemetery near Hermitage by Frazer’s Funeral Home.
