Charles C. Pate, 80, of Sparkman, died in Camden Monday. Funeral plans are incomplete. Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce will be in charge. The funeral will be at the New Hope Baptist Church near Sparkman with burial in Sardis Cemetery. He was a veteran of World War I and a Baptist. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Florence E. Pate of Camden; one son, Emmett Pate of Camden; one daughter, Mrs. Thelma Butler of San Bernadino, Calif.; three grandchildren; two brothers, J. H. Pate of Jacksonville, Fla. and E. B. Pate of New Port Richey, Fla; five sisters, Mrs. Masy Edwards, Mrs. S. W. Lawes, Mrs. S. Seaward, Miss Viola Pate, all of Jacksonville, Fla. and Mrs. Maybelle Scott of Oklawaha, Fla.
